CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
We believe that ...
- Jesus was serious when He said, “Let the little children come to me” (Luke 18:16)
- children have lots of questions about God and are very receptive to His love
- God has placed a calling on the life of every child: to know Him and to make Him known
- in each child there is great potential, and it is imperative to discover it
Through everything we do in our children’s ministry, we want to make sure that the children get to know God and His word, that they begin to speak to Him and hear from Him, and that they learn how to follow Jesus.
All children’s activities are conducted primarily in German with English translation when needed. We have a number of bilingual children and adults in our congregation.
We welcome children ages 3–12 to our children’s meetings each Sunday morning. Here we learn Bible stories and Christian values in a way that is accessible to the younger members of our congregation. Our time together is creative and interactive. Games and fun play a big role each week because it is important to us that the children feel comfortable and at home here in the church.
Prayer is the main theme of the Kids’ Club (ages 5–9) on Monday afternoons. The children have fun playing various prayer games and learning to know Jesus as their friend. We dance, sing, do crafts and tell stories — everything that a proper Kids’ Club should entail!
We also have Christian nursery school. More information, including how you can help us, can be found here: Kindergarten
